Stephen Swann

Stephen J. Swann is the managing and founding partner of Fountain Capital, a real estate and loan investment firm located in Dallas, Texas. Fountain was formed in September 2009 to acquire loans and real estate across the United States. Fountain partners have closed on 20 separate transactions, ranging from a 21 property loan and REO portfolio to an 18 property flex portfolio to a 16 property retail portfolio. Fountain has purchased several portfolios of loans and REO properties from various sellers, including the FDIC, special servicers, regional banks and community banks. Prior to Fountain, Mr. Swann was a founding partner of Expedition Capital Partners. At Expedition, Mr. Swann was responsible for all facets of real estate acquisition and development. While at Expedition, Mr. Swann also purchased a loan portfolio comprised of various assets from the FDIC. Mr. Swann was previously a Vice President at Cypress Equities, the acquisition and development arm of Staubach Retail. During Mr. Swann’s tenure at Cypress, he worked on the formation of three funds: (i) a $30 million (equity) acquisition fund; (ii) a $100 million (equity) development fund; and (iii) a $1 billion (debt and equity) automotive sale-leaseback and mortgage fund. Mr. Swann also underwrote, financed and closed on the acquisition of all of Cypress’ income producing properties. Before Cypress, Mr. Swann was hired by Staubach Financial Services as an analyst. He underwrote and managed the due diligence on the acquisition of income producing properties for Farmers Insurance, a client of The Staubach Company. Mr. Swann also worked on the disposition of Farmers Insurance branch claims offices across the country. While at Staubach Financial Services, Mr. Swann worked on the acquisition of a portfolio of over 100 CVS stores on a sale-leaseback transaction. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Finance, Mr. Swann worked at Realty Capital Corporation, where he was the project developer of five different developments. As project developer, Mr. Swann oversaw the entire development and leasing process on all of his developments. After graduating from the Episcopal School of Dallas, Mr. Swann attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a degree in Finance.

Kent Clay

Kent Clay is a partner in Clay & Crow. Clay & Crow is a partnership between Kent Clay and Patrick Crow. The two partners originally became law partners in 1992. After practicing law together for many years, their partnership evolved into an investment partnership that has been involved in oil and gas operations, banking, timber, residential and industrial lot development and private equity ventures.

The Clay & Crow holdings currently include residential lot developments, industrial developments, retail developments, timber properties, rural and ranch properties, notes and private equity investments.

Patrick Crow

Patrick Crow is a partner in Clay & Crow. Clay & Crow is a partnership between Patrick Crow and Kent Clay. The two partners originally became law partners in 1992. After practicing law together for many years, their partnership evolved into an investment partnership that has been involved in many different business areas. Mr. Crow was an organizer of a Dallas startup bank, First Mercantile Bank. It opened for business in 1998 and was sold to a larger regional bank in 2003. He has been involved as an owner of several privately owned operating business, where he often serves in a director capacity.

In addition to his banking experience, a substantial portion of his investment focus has centered around real estate investments. He has had direct involvement in residential, retail and industrial developments. Additionally, he has been involved in the private financing of numerous loans secured with real estate as collateral. This includes oil and gas operations, residential housing, residential lot developments and land. Associated with those activities has been over $70,000,000 of combined debt and equity to publicly traded homebuilders in off balance sheet financing structures for those companies.

The Clay & Crow holdings currently include residential lot developments, industrial developments, retail developments, timber properties, rural land holdings, notes and private equity investments.

Anthony TaCito

Anthony J. TaCito is founder, Chairman and CEO of TaCito Direct, a direct marketing advertising agency that specializes in Automotive Marketing. The company serves primarily automobile dealerships (Tier III), dealer advertising associations (Tier II), dealer groups and publically held retail automotive organizations, and the Sales and Marketing Departments and Advertising Agencies of Tier 1 Automobile manufacturers. 

Mr. TaCito is actively involved in nurturing both existing and prospective client relationships, and is closely involved with clients and senior team members in guiding them through the client business building processes. His expertise in direct marketing spans a 30 year career in automotive direct marketing, automotive marketing, and sales. As a team builder, his focus is on identifying the best team players in the industry, fostering their growth, and then providing them the necessary guidance to best serve clients needs.
